Mummy Blue - Fiction Film
Mummy Blue explores how memories, particularly traumatic ones are passed on from one generation to another, and how profoundly populations of people can be affected.
”Being born in Lebanon instilled a certain inherent sense of nostalgia and melancholy in me. Traumas unarguably get passed on. With Mummy Blue, I wanted to examine a scenario in which the protagonist wasn’t born in Lebanon, but in which memories of events and traumas that she hadn’t experienced or asked for were passed on to her.”
